After completing her dental degree and residency in general dentistry in 2002 in Romania, Dr. Maria Dona moved to United States to continue her dental training. She earned her Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from Boston University, and continued her training at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she completed a combined program with a Certificate for graduate training in Periodontology and Doctor of Medical Science in Oral Biology Degree.

She continued her studies at Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she was accepted in the Advanced Standing Program and received her DMD degree. Dr. Dona is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and has been actively involved in basic and clinical research. She authored and co-authored numerous papers and a book in clinical periodontology, as well as presented her work at several dental conferences. She is an active member of several professional associations including the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, Harvard Odontological Society, American Academy of Dental Sciences. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society and its constituent organizations, including the Merrimack Valley District Dental Society. She is also a member of the Standing Committee for Women in Dentistry. Dr. Dona is committed to integrating her research and clinical experience with the latest procedures and technologies to continually advance in the periodontal and implant fields to best serve each of her patients.

Dr. Dona lives in Southern New Hampshire with her husband, and they are the proud parents of sons Matthew & Justin. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and outdoor activities, such as hiking, canoeing, and skiing.

Dr. Sheila E. Tucker

Dr. Sheila E. Tucker began her career in the dental field as a dental hygienist having graduated from the Forsyth School for Dental Hygienists in 1975. At Forsyth, she worked as a research assistant, which led her to pursue a degree in Biology at Boston University. Her research at Boston University, pertaining to the relationship between periodontitis and diabetes in animal models, involved the use of electron microscopic technology, a technology she would continue to develop in basic research for the next several years. She received her dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where she was awarded the Dental Student Research Society Award. She completed a combined program with postdoctoral training in Periodontology and a Master in Medical Science Degree in Oral Biology at Harvard University, where she was also awarded a National Institutes of Health Research Service Award. Her research was published in several peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Tucker has been in private practice for twenty five years. She has taught at the postdoctoral level at Tufts University. Dr. Tucker has been an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the American Dental Association as well as its constituent dental societies. As a member of the Massachusetts Dental Society she has served as Chairman of the Dental Liaison Committee and has served on the Women in Leadership Task Force as well as the Standing Committee for Women in Dentistry.

Dr. Tucker lives in Andover with her husband and is the proud parent of two grown daughters. As a supporter of classical music, Dr. Tucker is a subscriber to the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Andover Chamber Music Series.

Michelle has been with our team since 2009 as a registered dental hygienist having graduated from Middlesex Community College in 2006. She is committed to providing her patients with the highest standard of care by keeping up to date on advancements in dental hygiene treatment. Michelle resides in Southern New Hampshire and enjoys spending time with her husband and their four young boys.

Julie is a career dental assistant who has been in the dental profession for over 30 years. She graduated with a certificate in dental assisting from the Greater Lawrence Technical School and received her radiology certificate from Northern Essex Community College. Julie has been part of our dental team since 1991. She lives in Methuen, MA with her husband. They have two grown children and she is the proud grandmother to Landon Michael.

The newest member of our team, Brittney DeVincent joined us in spring of 2016. Brittney is a formally trained Licensed Dental Assistant.  She graduated from Northern Essex Community College in 2014 after completing her Dental Assisting program. Prior to Joining our Practice, Brittney worked as a Surgical Dental Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator in an Oral Surgery Practice for 2 years.  She is trained in sedation dentistry and is certified in dental billing and coding. Brittney also participates in community service, and has worked in both the CHIPPS and Sealants programs through NECCO. Brittney resides in Haverhill, MA and during her free time enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and boyfriend.

Andrea is a dental assistant having been in the dental field since she graduated from high school in 1988. She worked in a periodontal office for 11 years prior to joining our team in 2008. Currently, she enjoys being our scheduling coordinator. She has participated in continuing education at the annual Yankee Dental Congress in Boston. Andrea resides in Southern New Hampshire with her husband and two children.
